NSU

Solante NSU P.jpg

The Solante Network Synchronization Unit (NSU) is used in the Solante Network Control Center (NCC) where multiple Solante Network Controllers (SNCs) need to be synchronized together. The NSU united distributes the 10MHz network reference clock, and generates a two-second frame sync signal for the SNCs. See datasheet below .

All the SNCs connected to the NSU unit are synchronized with one reference frequency source and the same network timing, allowing Solante TDMA call operation across sub-networks.

The NSU unit is designed with full redundant features. It has redundant clock input ports, as well as redundant internal power supplies and circuitry. It can be operated in Automatic switchover mode or in Manual mode.
